Holidae House Guest Accommodations
Designed and erected by a local lumber baron in 1902, this late Victorian home was the first in Bethel to be electrified, and is distinguished by its hipped roofs and ornamental iron decorations. You are greeted first by the inviting front porch and private shaded brick patio before entering the grand center hall leading to the living room.
The seven designer decorated guest rooms all offer private baths, a queen-size bed, reading chairs, remote cable-television, air conditioning, WIFI, and special amenities. Each room is decorated in a different period style and color theme. Three of the rooms are slightly larger and include tubs and accommodate cots for an extra person.
"Sue and I want to say 'thankyou' for your outstanding hospitality last June when we visited Bethel. Our room was just perfect, and the breakfast was superb. We enjoyed our time relaxing on your front porch, after a day of driving and sightseeing. We were so impressed with Maine, that we plan to return during the fall colors next year. We will plan our trip so that we can spend another couple nights at your fine bed and breakfast."
